“CTi”

“CTi” came about sometime last year when i couldn’t acquire the “coreythomas” instagram handle. i hate the use of underscores, numbers, or any symbol to differentiate me from the likes’. so i added a word; “inc”.

the “i” in CTi doesn’t hold much functionality, though it does put me in the mindset of holding a business as opposed to a regular account on social media. so, in some ways, it was a perfect accident(i make a ton of those without realizing it).

LOGO DESIGN

This blue, yellow and white color way is something that i’ve been very eager to bring to life. reminds me of jeopardy.

COLOR PALETTE

made some of these color cards inspired by the paint cards we see at Home Depot.

those always fascinated me. needed to make these to get a color palette going for the Summer, so i guess it served it’s purpose.

some of these colors are too loud for me, but i do love the scheme. i’ll be playing around with them for the season, they may end up on some CNM or Molasses project.

who knows?…

BRAND DEVELOPMENT

now, is when the fun starts, for me.

lets get some brand recognition going. I need to make sure every component of this brand is recognized in as many familiar worlds as possible.

starting with phone wallpapers, story templates for social media outlets, post templates for Instagram, etc. we can even go as far as to making stickers, or whatever propaganda comes to mind.

now is when we build he world, vision, life around the brand. making it something recognizable every time you see it, like a logo, or certain symbols/colors that relate to the brand. for instance, i was online scrolling last night and for whatever reason, a bee came to mind after seeing this yellow color that i chose. so i’m now incorporating a “bee” illustration. we’ll see how it looks.
